If you’ve been following my posts, you know I have a juicer. I just got it recently and started using it for the first time. Last night my friend and I started playing around with a few recipes we found online and kept some original and made some tweaks to others. I wanted to share two that we made which were surprisingly even better than we thought they would be! They both came from

Sunset Blend:
2 medium size red apples
1 beet root
1 large carrot
1 orange
1 sweet potato

When making juices, you should always put the harder, more starchy produce in first, on the high setting. Any waxed produce (like apples) should have their skin removed first to protect the juicer. After these produce are juiced, then you can add the softer ones on a lower setting. Quick and easy! Here’s how it came out:


Here’s another one we tried that we modified a little

1 pineapple
2 carrots
1 ginger knob
2 small, tightly packed handfulls of kale
1 lemon

Here’s the final product:

Both were delicious and a quick and easy way to add more nutrients to my daily intake!
